Merry Christmas!

Yesterday (Dec 14th) was our last Sunday School lesson for 2008.

We will reconvene on Jan 11th at 9:45AM.

Dec 7 - Sunday School

On Dec 7th, we have a special treat for those children in the younger group... Jenn Bobowski has written and will be performing a puppet show for them!

There will be Advent centered stories and crafts this week as well.

See you at 9:45!

PS - Dec 14th will be our last Sunday School day until the new year and will be starting back up on Jan 11th.

Nov - 23

Sunday School is on at 9:45 this Sunday with another great experiment and a craft... and don't forget the snacks! :)

Nov 16th

Sunday School is back this week with another fabulous science experiment and crafts/activities.

Due to the Rememberance Day long weekend, we will not be having sunday school this week.

Because of the long weekend, there will be no Sunday School and we will pick back up on Oct 19th at 9:45AM.

We started our new curriculum this past Sunday which involves science experiments! It was so totally fun!

With the younger kids we were able to "pull baby Moses out of the river" by way of an ice cube in a bowl of water, a string and some salt!

With the older kids we talked about one of Jesus' parables about a young man who left his family with his portion of the family's money and "took off like a rocket" and spent it all until he was poor and had to come home. Our "rocket" involved a film cannister, a little water and an Alka Seltzer tablet - I hope our ceiling will be ok downstairs! :)

Sunday Sept 27th

Hi everyone!

This Sunday we've got stories and crafts planned again. We are starting at 9:45AM in the sanctuary with offering and then we'll head down stairs to get started.

Sunday Sept 14th

This week in Sunday School we're talking about butterflies!

Stacey will introduce a story about butterflies in the bible and Kari & I will be making butterflies in crafts with the kids.

Parents: Don't forget to bring your children's registration cards back to me (Janelle) on Sunday and if you haven't received registration cards yet, I will have them with me - make sure to stop and get them. :)

Sunday School starts up again

Sunday School starts again this Sunday, September 7th at 9:45 a.m. Kids can meet in the Sanctuary for a bit of an Opening and offering before we go downstairs for a craft and activities.

Parents: Please see Janelle for Sunday School registration forms. Bible Study also starts the same day at 9:45 a.m. in the Boardroom. The Bible Study on the Book of Romans will be led by Pastor Rosnau and will last till probably Christmas with a few changes along the way. We'll keep in touch on this space on the blog.

Can't wait to see all of you on Sunday morning!!
